So after my 20 mile fiasco in Brasil (only ride I got in 10 days), today was the first real workout I have had in a long time.
Fiesta World Championhips. I gambled and I think I might have won today as I am feeling pretty good right now. No worse, no better than this morning and I was still able to put in 600 watt efforts.
It was relatively easy to sit in and only once i felt the lack of training. Legs started to tingle a bit, but that was it. The worse part was putting power down and I tried not to. It is actually amazing how focused you can get on only using your legs when something else is not working properly.
I managed to finish all 10 laps and I did feel really sore after, but sitting here right now it is OK.
This weekend is a big rowing weekend as Masters Nationals are in two weeks. I REALLY need my back on that day, so I will have to take some serious pills before that day comes...
Anyone cares to spare me some Vicodin?
